Recently my dear old Kenwood from 1984 died a slow and graceful death. Despite prohibitive costs we (well, I) decided to lash out and buy the sexy red Kitchen Aid mixer which is reputed to be so good that your kids inherit it. Can't wait to use it but I think I'll wait until the weather gets cooler. By about 25 degrees!
