Day 360 - Full circle

Now I'm really in relaxion mode. I'm beginning to feel the way I did when I started this blog. Spent the day browsing through illustration blogs internally oohing and ahhing (yes it does so have two h's) over wonderful, wonderful book illustations. This blog has a blog list worth investigating if you love illustrations and children's books which combine great design, whimsy and atmosphere. Most of my time has been spent on Le figure dei libri, and I've been posting video links onto Facebook and my art wiki.

Day 319 - Second day

Fresh air, sun, relaxation and good company. We spent many hours reading, chatting, eating and drinking on the front verandah.

Blue is one of the most beautiful colours - expansive, transparent and calming.

Day 12 - Sunny days indoors

I love the Summer school holidays. It takes me several weeks to relax and I feel just about relaxed now. Lazing around, warm weather, good company - you can guess what else is happening in this photo. Trouble is, soon I'll have to start tensing up as the time to go back to school approaches...

Day 2 - school holidays

My younger son, Maxim relaxing during his Christmas holidays. You can see my laptop on the couch in the background, where it almost permanently resides, ready for me to do some time-wasting.
