Day 311 - Mediterranean Night

We were invited to an evening with a Mediterranean theme. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time with family, friends and neighbours. With the heat of the day losing its edge, we sat outside, covered in insect repellent, and full of too many foods to mention (okay, maybe just the tiramisu then). The photos are of my boys' second cousins. Yes, the boys in the photo are twins, but you can't see both of them because the right part of the photo is always cut off. It's very annoying. Have a look at the photo on Flickr.

Day 116 - Sunday lunch

Lunch today with extended family was enjoyable, staying inside on a cold, windy and miserable day. I hadn't seen my cousin and his wife for a couple of years (except in passing), so it was good to catch up. Can you believe I made another pavlova, which makes 4 in less than 2 weeks because when I make one it turns out as two (the amount of frozen egg whites in the container). Meanwhile, I'd like to whinge about getting 2 speeding tickets in a week. I always get caught in the 50 zones! Meanwhile cars are hooning up and down our street, leaving skid marks and probably going scot free!

Day 11 - Mixing salad for lunch

Here I am mixing salad for lunch with family and friends. Another lovely day with warm weather, good food and company, laughter.

Day 10 - Drive up the mountain on the sunny day

Quite spontaneously this morning we decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and take a drive to the Dandenongs. Here are my sons about to enjoy lunch.
