Day 93 - Rain (downpour)

What a downpour we had today. Thunder, lightning; trouble on the roads; cancelled trains and broken boom gates. When I came home the rain had almost stopped, and I let in a very wet dog. My dog, in case you're wondering. Then I took a photo of my backyard which was still smelling like rain and looking uncharacteristically green.

  3. It was great for our gardens, waterways and reservoirs. But it was also a bit unnerving - too much all at once and the lightning was scary.

  4. What a lovely lush place. I know we live in two different hemispheres, but it is still astonishing to see the fall colours just as our spring flowers are starting to poke out. Fun to see the differences.
