Beautiful day, just perfect. I spent a good part of it with one of my favourite people over brunch and coffee outdoors in Rathdowne Street, North Carlton. Seems to be a popular spot for pooches too.
I noticed evidence of botanical creativity around all the trees along the strip. Quaint.
I allow myself 2 minutes to dream of being a Rathdowne resident.
What a perfect way to start your day Tania! I love the "mini gardens" along the footpaths.
ReplyDeleteIt was a day to savour. The mini gardens are cute, aren't they? I'm surprised Council would do something like that.
ReplyDeleteHey Tania, Sue and I would love to catch up with you sometime. Email me at

and we'll see if we can work out something for later in January
I'd love to, great idea. Let's do it.
ReplyDeletelovely photos!!! I used to work nearby cleaning an opera singer's house when I was saving to go overseas. It would take five hours to spruce up the house, there were silk rugs to vacuum and kilometres of wood to steam. also I wasn't allowed to use chemicals to clean the bathrooms. argh.
ReplyDelete- Varia
Varia, even your awful jobs have an exotic ring to them. Your life is a novel! Good to hear from you.
