Day 336 - Borrowed photos

On Saturday I cursed silently as I walked through the Old Post Office in the city. The interior was the best example of contemporary Christmas decoration I'd seen in a long time. That's why I've borrowed these two photos from Guest Photographer who went there today - with camera.

Just wanted to share these. What do you think?

  1. The red and green stripes look like they've been superimposed on the photo - that was my first impression - someone's drawn them on with a texta! Weird.

  2. I like the building - the streamers detract. More traditional decorations would do far better with this more traditional architecture!

  3. The building is a combination of the traditional architecture and modern, glassy designs (the interior was gutted by fire and reconstructed as an upmarket shopping space). Perhaps if more of the modern stuff was visible in the photo, you'd like the Christmas decorations more.

  4. I was thinking the same thing. When you walk through and see mainly modern shops and fittings, the decorations go well. I know what you mean, Susan; from the photo the difference is pronounced.
