A friend of mine commented today about the fact that I managed to find a photo every day for the Flickr groups and blog. I told her that often, at the end of the day, I was without photo or ideas. Here's the photo to prove it.

Interesting photo - with the lack of other colours we pay attention to the details.
ReplyDeleteSo it's not nothing at all! It's hard to take a photo of nothing. The Greek word for nothing is "tipota" and some smart Greek had a cute idea; we have a bottle of liquer labeled - "Tipota". So when you say you want nothing to drink - that's what you get! Then of course there was Odysseus who told the Cyclopes his name was "No man" which confused the poor giant endlessly. And don't mathematicians get excited about the concept of Zero? - Can you tell it's my day off?
