Second trip to Ikea for the week following the reorganisation around the house. Mr 16 needs a new bed and since his small room will not comfortably fit a larger bed, we went hunting for a smaller, more efficient unit to replace an old desk and chest of drawers. The chest of drawers may as well be called Officeworks; I'll never have to buy folders and foolscap again.
The picture above is what we found when we moved the chest of drawers away from the wall - squashed Simpsons characters stuck to the wall. Since the photo is blurry I thought I may as well tweak it a little to make it look animated.
Funny how resistant some people are to change when others like frequent change. I don't react well to change on the whole, but I love reorganising a room, creating a different space. Mr 16 has been reluctant to change anything at all in his room. He's left pictures on the wall from when he was 3 years old and doesn't seem to care, whereas I would imagine some boys would try to get rid of any evidence of the babyhood. Could be wrong.
